Cutting Edge Wins BIBAs Best Engineering Business Award 2019

We are extremely proud to have won the Be Inspired Business Award (BIBAs) for Best Engineering Business of the Year at the prestigious awards ceremony held on the 13th of September. The event which was attended by hundreds of guests from businesses across Lancashire has been hosted by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce since 2006 and sees thousands of inspiring and innovative companies enter every year.

As long-standing members of the chamber, we were elated to be announced as finalists in four different categories earlier this year. Operations Director Gary Tinsley accepted the award at the ceremony in Blackpool on behalf of Cutting Edge and said:

Receiving a BIBAs award is an incredible achievement and we couldn’t be more proud of our team. As a business that leads with service and takes immense pride in developing new talent and apprenticeships in our engineering department, it means a great deal for us to win the award for best engineering business.”

Our highly experienced engineering team are renowned in the industry for their commitment to excellent service and achieving the BIBAs award for engineering stands as a crowning achievement in recognition for their inspiring work.

Managing Director at Cutting Edge Sam Tinsley said this about the win:

“We are delighted to receive the BIBAs engineering award in recognition for the excellent service we provide our customers in the food industry. To be nominated as finalists in four categories was an excellent achievement, and to leave with an award in such a highly competitive category is a fantastic achievement. I am personally incredibly proud of our engineering team who exemplify the sharp, innovative and reliable approach that Cutting Edge stands for.”

With the celebrations over for this year, we are now setting our sights on the future. With global collaborations, new innovations and our partnership with the Northern Powerhouse programme, we aim to continue leading innovation in the North and take home more awards in next year’s BIBAs awards.
