    Cutting Edge Services is looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and hands-on Creative Designer to join our growing marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping how our brand is seen across all touchpointsfrom digital platforms to printed materials and in-person experiences.     Overview of the Role

    As a Creative Designer, you’ll have the chance to showcase your talents across all key marketing channels. From initial concept to final production, you will create engaging, on-brand visuals and content across web, video, print, and social media. This is a varied role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

    Video production, editing, and post-production will play a significant part in your day-to-day responsibilities. You’ll also capture original photography and video on location – at our HQ, at customer and supplier sites, and during events or exhibitions. Working closely with your wider marketing and commercial teams, you’ll contribute to a wide range of creative projects – from product launches and trade show promotions to internal communications and eCommerce campaigns. 

    You’ll take ownership of asset creation across multiple channels and play a key role in prepping campaign materials prior to execution. You’ll also track and interpret simple analytics to understand what works and what doesn’t – feeding this insight into ongoing improvements in creative output, UX, user flows, and conversion strategies. 

    This is an evolving role within a growing business, offering scope to develop your skills across design, storytelling, branding, and digital marketing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute compelling creative content across digital, print, animation, video, and rich media formats. 
    • Design assets for a variety of marketing channels including CMS pages, social media, brochures, email templates, digital ads, and ecommerce listings. 
    • Carry out product photography, and edit images for use across marketing and ecommerce channels. 
    • Manage video production from planning and filming to editing and post-production. 
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) and external suppliers to interpret briefs and deliver high-quality work on time and on budget. 
    • Create campaign assets for product launches, trade shows, customer case studies, and recruitment drives. 
    • Support the development and evolution of brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual identity across all channels. 
    • Assist in analysing basic performance metrics (e.g., engagement, bounce rates, conversion data) to guide creative improvements. 
    • Create professional presentation materials for internal and external use. 
    • Explore new tools, trends, and formats to enhance the team’s creative output. 
    • Contribute to content planning and creative strategy discussions. 
    • Maintain good organisation of creative assets and project files for easy reuse and reference.

    What we’re looking for

    We’re seeking a confident, innovative individual with at least three years of commercial design experience and a strong creative portfolio showcasing both graphic and video content. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing priorities.

    Experience with Magento and/or WordPress is a bonus, and whilst frontend web design skills (CSS & HTML) are an advantage, they’re not essential. A keen eye for detail, excellent visual storytelling skills, and the ability to bring ideas to life are essential. 

    Essential Skills

    • Proven experience in creative design for commercial or brand-led businesses. 
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality graphic and video work. 
    • Advanced video production, editing, and photography skills. 
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (or equivalent tools) across print, video, and digital. 
    • Experience using DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting kits, and audio gear. 
    • Competency with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides, Gamma). 
    • Basic copywriting and proofreading skills (e.g., for web pages, product descriptions). 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, meet deadlines, and deliver with minimal supervision. 
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing visually impactful work. 
    • Strong visual communication and storytelling skills. 
    • A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving. 

    Desirable Skills 

    • Experience in digital animation or motion graphics. 
    • Familiarity with platforms such as Magento, WordPress, and Mailchimp. 
    • Understanding of SEO principles for on-page content. 
    • Basic knowledge of web design best practices, responsive layout, and UX. 
    • Experience with light data tasks (e.g., spreadsheet querying, Google Analytics). 
    • Familiarity with agile or sprint-based ways of working. 
    • Interest in new creative tools such as AI-driven design software (e.g., Adobe Firefly).
