    UK food producers are under constant pressure to improve efficiency, meet tightening hygiene standards, and reduce reliance on manual labour. As Capital Sales Specialist, you’ll help them solve these challenges — consulting with operations directors, engineers, and business owners to deliver tailored solutions that position Cutting Edge Services’ technologies as key drivers of productivity, safety, and operational excellence.

    Your territory covers the UK with occasional trips to Ireland, targeting food processors across sectors including bakery, dairy, meat, prepared foods, and beverages. You’ll manage complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and often require site visits, technical demonstrations, and ROI justification.

    You’ll have genuine autonomy to build your territory, backed by a highly skilled sales team, established supplier relationships, and a collaborative company culture.

    Essential Requirements

    • Proven track record in B2B capital equipment sales with demonstrable success against targets
    • Strong consultative and technical sales abilities – comfortable selling solutions, not just products
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to understand and articulate the operational benefits of advanced machinery and hygiene systems
    • Self-motivated, organised, and proactive with a strong drive to achieve
    • Proficient in CRM tools and business reporting
    • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
    • Right to work in the UK

    Desirable Requirements

    • Experience in food manufacturing, processing, or hygiene technology sectors
    • Existing network within UK/Ireland food production industry
    • Technical background or engineering qualification
    • Experience with navigating complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
