Our core competencies have been around our sharp edge services, complimented with a wide range of butchery equipment, PPE and consumables. The portfolio also comprises bespoke capital equipment solutions which embrace automation, operator well-being, and improve general productivity and yields. Our inventory and related support services, encompassing our Sharp Edge and Engineering divisions have all been provided from the company’s high-tech facility base in the northwest.
Our chairman, David Mook, has built the business around the foundations of butchery excellence and of driving innovation across the industry. After 30 years of ownership, Dave is pleased to announce the sale of the business to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
Founded in 1992, Cutting Edge Services have spent the last 30 years developing into one of the industry’s leading and most respected brands, with turnover in excess of £15m. The business has always had a strong ethos and culture towards its colleagues, making employee ownership the ideal exit strategy for the shareholder and legacy for the business.
