The Guardian Bandsaw has been designed from the ground up with a 3D Vision Technology™ safety system, reducing serious injuries in the meat processing industry. Whereas traditional contact sensing only activates after the operator makes contact, the Guardian anticipates injuries and stops them in their tracks. Four cameras constantly monitor the blade for a specific coloured glove, creating a virtual ‘safety zone’. A soon as a glove is detected in the zone, the bandsaw stops before the operator’s hand comes into contact.
The Guardian’s online management software features a reporting dashboard combined with an instant alert and reporting system. This provides a comprehensive view of the bandsaw operation, trigger events, specific user incidents and trends, and blade performance reporting. The easy-to-use system allows your data to be configured in a number of ways to create custom reports. This enables you to look deeply at operational use, the way staff are interacting with the saw and respond to trigger events quickly.
